RCA Theatre Company is urgently seeking a Stage Manager for a Mainstage Production as part of our 2020-21 Season.

The successful candidate will be compensated at ADC/CAEA (DOT) rates.

Show Description
The Dialysis Project is a one-woman multi-media performance piece, written and performed by Leah Lewis, which investigates grief and resilience through the lens of self-administered home
dialysis. Leah “performs” a dialysis treatment live on stage, and in doing so delivers a powerful visual metaphor for the accompanying stories of isolation, mortality, and sexuality. The result is
a touching, funny, and utterly unique show.

Duties as Stage Manager
o Support rehearsals and production administration
o Liaison between creative team, part of which will be engaging digitally.
o Work closely with the Technical Director and Designers to produce digital content

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have experience in professional Stage Management for Theatre. Film and/or television experience is an asset though not required. The candidate must be flexible with
working hours (some evenings and weekends) as the rehearsal schedule dictates. They must have general computer skills, and experience in engaging in virtual workspaces (ex. Zoom).
The successful candidate will gain the unique experience of joining a professional production team to bring this one-of-a-kind show to life.
