This year’s curated selection explores themes of womanhood, family, friendship, escapism, and romance stories that center love, survival, longing, and joy across borders and generations. From African coasts to Canadian coastlines, our program features films by Black, Indigenous, and underrepresented filmmakers whose voices push against silence and celebrate connection.
Expect moving screenings, filmmaker conversations, and community dialogue in a space that honors both craft and care.
