Do you want to start a Production Company but aren’t sure where to begin, or did you recently start one and need help with the next step? Join Anna Petras (Newfound Film Inc., NIFCO) and lawyer/trademark agent Erin Best (Cox & Palmer) to learn how to approach starting your own Incorporated Production Company and what that means in terms of financial and legal obligations. Other topics will include: how to work with unions, creating deal memos and contracts for cast and crew, key entertainment and media laws, Corporate tax reporting and obligations, insurance requirements and more.
