ALI HASSAN: Muslim, Interrupted

Ali Hassan is a Stand-Up Comic, host of ‘Laugh Out Loud’ on CBC Radio and Sirius XM (with over a base of over million listeners), he is host of Canada Read’s (CBC TV), was a Lead Comedy Panelist on over 160 episodes of George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, and recently has filled in for Tom Power on ‘q’ (CBC Radio), which he’ll do again for a couple weeks in July if you want to tune in. He has appeared as an actor in movies and TV shows, but is most comfortable on stage entertaining audiences with his humour which covers topics from food, parenthood, identity theft and living as a Canadian Muslim among others.
Winner of ‘Comedian of the Year’ in 2015, and performing at the largest comedy festival in the world, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, as well as all across Canada at festivals and clubs, Ali Hassan is very excited to finally be bringing his ‘Muslim, Interrupted’ show to Newfoundland and looks forward to meeting you all.
