Come on out for a night of music and art from local 2SLGBTQIA+ artists! Featuring some of St. John’s finest, this show covers a spectrum of folk styles. Expect contemporary folk stylings from Adrian House, Dan Trouble, and Reagan Holmes. For a current yet traditional sound, Than Brown, Maria Cherwick, and Tamsyn Russell have joined forces. Zay Nova rounds out the lineup with his country sound. Stretch your legs during the break to get a drink and check out local art on display. This is the Newfoundland and Labrador Folk Arts Society’s first show with the FolQ Fund for promoting 2SLGBTQIA+ artists, so you can be sure it will be a special night. The show will be held at the one and only LSPU hall on November 4, at 7:30pm. You won’t want to miss Local FolQ!
