Ouch! Funny, Sad, and and Cringeworthy True Stories for Charity

A new storytelling show that’s looking for participants from every gender, and walk of life, in aid of the NL Sexual Assault Crisis and Prevention Centre. Ouch is a word we’ve all heard when telling stories, it’s a reaction that fits to almost everything, and we (the hosts, natch) think that’s something to be embraced! So if you’ve got something funny, awkward, sexy, uplifting, painful, empowering, horrifying (you NAME it) to share, we want to hear it! Our only rules are that it be non-fiction, and that it happened to you. You don’t have to be a dynamite public speaker, and anything you need to feel comfortable while performing (notes, a friend to share the stage/story with you) is, of course, encouraged. We want to build an (even bigger) extended community of survivors and supporters, because it’s important for everyone to know they aren’t alone.

Bar services will be available, if you need liquid courage ahead of time.

Admission is $10 at the door, and 50% of each cover charge goes directly to the NL Sexual Assault Crisis and Prevention Centre, and the remaining 50% goes towards production costs for a Main Stage show of Ouch!
