On Tuesday November 14th, join Valmy + band to celebrate the release of her debut album ‘The In Between’, featuring an opening set by special guest, Liz Fagan.
Valmy is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who’s been following the ocean and finding home on the East Coast. Now based in St. John’s, Valmy continues to use her folk-influenced music to tell stories about loving and stumbling your way through the dark. Exploring the complexities of humanhood, grief, and healing, she weaves melodic swells with atmospheric harmonies to create and perform from a place of honesty and wonder. Valmy began recording with Michelle LaCour in February and proudly released her debut full length album ‘The In Between’ this September. She’s looking forward to performing this collection of songs with the full band of friends who played on this record, and excited to share this experience with the community.
Liz Fagan is a multilingual singer/songwriter from St. John’s who happens to be a linguist. They are known for their unique husky vice and percussive guitar playing. They find song ideas in bits of conversations, from the experiences of love and pain, and the complex world of communication.
