Scene & Heard Workshop: Interactive Storytelling

Writer, journalist, and former NFB interactive producer Jen Moss will lead this 2- hour, participatory workshop on interactive storytelling. Using two case studies from her repertoire: Al Jazeera’s Life on Hold and the NFB’s The Last Hunt, Jen will delve into the process of writing for interactive digital media. She’ll look at how interactivity can relate to theme, and explore ways to pick up story form, turn it upside-down, and examine it like a rock on the beach. This workshop is perfect for a wide array of creators from various disciplines who want to bring their work into the digital sphere.
