Speaker: Lori Heath, Executive Director, Common Ground Community Development Corporation Assistant Coordinator, Tree of Life Sustainability Project

Description: Lori will speak about the history of money, problems associated with conventional currency, and the global movement to address these problems through a variety of community/complementary currency models. She will also discuss recent efforts to re-launch a local community currency network in St. John’s in the coming year.

Bring your lunch; Coffee and Tea provided by RCA. The Lunch at the Hall Series is presented by Resource Centre for the Arts with the support of Canadian Heritage through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund and RBC. The series exists to connect artists and arts professionals in our community to share knowledge and skills. All Lunch at the Hall events are free of charge.
