C2C Theatre Celebrates 10 Years of Great Plays with the Return of 4Play

C2C Theatre is bringing their signature theatre event 4Play back to the stage one night only, Saturday May 25 2013, 8:00 pm at the LSPU Hall (3 Victoria Street).

4Play is an unpredictable theatrical tightrope act, with 4 writers, 4 directors, 4+4 actors and a handful of well-wishers coming together to create and eventually perform 4 short plays over just 24 hours.  The rules? Each scene must include the same first line, prop, and sound cue, suggested by the public and chosen by C2C Theatre 24 hours before the curtain rises.

This year, to help celebrate 10 years in existence, C2C has invited a variety of active theatre companies in the St. John’s region to take part in 4Play by forming teams of a director and 2 actors – the names of these varied and well-known companies will be released as May 25 approaches.   C2C regular Neil Butler is your knowledgeable and trying-as-hard-as-he-can-to-be-classy host for a celebratory night of surprises, laughs, giveaways, and guilt-free enjoyment of someone else’s on-stage terror. Please note for patrons who require wheelchair seating, this show is general admission. For general admission performances the floor row (see Seat Map) is always designated and available for wheelchair seating along with an attendant or other guests. Wheelchair Patrons can purchase their ticket(s) online but please inform the box office of the size of your group either by email at boxoffice@rca.nf.ca or by phone 753-4531 ext 200 so that staff may have the proper number of chairs out for your group.
