Join us in celebrating and uplifting diverse voices at our upcoming event, “Pride in Colour: An open mic for queer and decolonial storytelling”!

Here about us, from us! Are you a BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, person of colour) 2SLGBTQIA+ artist eager to showcase your talent? We invite you to share your art with us in this queer and decolonial space.
Whether it’s poetry, music, writing, visual art, script performances, we welcome it all.

Interested artists, please complete the submission form below to ensure smooth participation, especially if you need logistic support for your performance or display. Please provide us with details for your performance in the submission form: https://forms.gle/XrxfJuGeUx4TTKhU7

We’ll have plenty of open mic time for spontaneous sharing, so feel free to stop by and join in! While we are prioritizing art from 2SLGBTQIA+ BIPOC, allies are welcome and encouraged to attend.

This event is being organized in collaboration between the Anti-Racism Coalition of Newfoundland and Labrador, Palestine Action YYT, YWCA St. John’s, and Peace Love n’ Pride.

Please note, this event is for ages 19+, as alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
