Lunch at the Hall: Taxes for the Self-Employed Artist

Accountant George Warren (www.gwtax.ca) will cover the basics of filing your self-employed tax return.

Topics will include:

•     What is the criteria for self employed earnings?
•     What is the advantage of self employed earnings?
•     What are the eligible expenses and what percentage should be claimed?
•     How to best keep track of those?
•     HST – Should a self employed artist register?

This session will be followed by a Q&A Period.
