Touch written and directed by Noel Harris
These films have gained a wide range of attention, awards and nominations. The Nickel recognized several films in June -Terra Nova Matadora (Best Score-Duane Andrews), Wife and Death (Best Emerging Filmmaker-Matt Wright) and Touch (Best NL Film, Audience Choice). The Woman in White and Moving On were both national selections for CBC’s Short Film Face Off with director Mike Fardy taking the finale prize of $45,000 towards his next film. Des Walsh of Keystone was nominated for Best Actor at the Vaughn Film Festival. Touch has received numerous international awards including the Jury Choice at the Diversity in Cannes Festival.
