48 Months of Finasteride: Month 40
Join us for Month 40 as we count down the Finasteride Presidency. Each month, the actors of 48 Months of Finasteride read a political play in response to the current Administration’s most recent affronts to decency. This time, responding to the President’s announcement that he would terminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy, we’ve picked Arthur Miller’s 1955 A View from the Bridge. The play’s tragic hero is Eddie Carbone, a longshoreman in Red Hook, Brooklyn, whose life is upended when an undocumented migrant he and his family are shielding falls in love with his niece. Come see this moving portrait of endogamy, American-style. The reading starts at 7pm in the Cox & Palmer Second Space at the LSPU Hall. As always, admission is free.
