Take a break from the Holiday rush and join us for this traditional dramatic telling of this holiday classic. Sometimes funny but also eerie and frightening; Dickens’ A Christmas Carol has been recreated for the whole family and will get you in a Yuletide mood.
It’s a story that warms our hearts.as Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future remind us that the true Christmas spirit comes from opening our minds and hearts to the welfare of those around us. . At the end of the story Scrooge is relieved to discover that there is still time for him to change and we see him transformed into a generous and kind-hearted human being.
The theme of income inequality and social injustice, while not as harsh as Victorian England, is still relevant today. Maybe that is another reason why families return each year to see the show. Dickens reveals what could happen if we support social change in our community.
