Here’s a rare treat for Coronation Street fans in Newfoundland! All fans will meet & greet Ian & Mikey as well as enjoy a very intimate show in St. John’s at the most vibrant downtown theatre space at the Resource Centre for the Arts (LSPU hall). A unique chance to get up close & personal and hear from the new generation of Corrie stars who are behind exciting story lines that have had viewers on the edge of their seats: Ian Puleston-Davies and Mikey North who play quick-tempered builders and pseudo in-laws, Owen Armstrong and Gary Windass, on Britain’s longest-running television drama.

The Men at Work Tour showcases the often troubled family life in the Windass household where the extended family is always facing fresh strife and challenges. Owen is struggling to fit in with girlfriend Anna Windass and her troubled family, including her son, the red-headed, hot-tempered military veteran, Gary, who has joined Owen’s building business as a labourer.  But things rarely go smoothly, especially when Owen gets angry.

The audience will hear exciting stories in an interview style from show host Karl Wells about the world behind the scenes on Coronation Street’s cobbles. Anecdotes, inside information, the scoop on other characters – it’s all there as Ian and Mikey -and their rough and ready Corrie characters – welcome Newfoundland fans into their Weatherfield world.
