Join a local all-star cast as they perform an informal reading of Paul Warford’s first staged play for St. John’s, Dabber Down (a play about narcotics).
Dabber Down (a play about narcotics) tells the story of Donnie, a local hard ticket, who has recently purchased the town bingo hall with his business partner, Lucius, with a plan to use it as a drug front in a small Newfoundland community.
This performance will be a casual, seated reading of the script. Directed by Ruth Lawrence with dramaturgy contributions from Robert Chafe.
Seating is limited, but all are welcome! Event is PWYC and Amanda Bulman will cater the event with finger foods after the show.
