Nickel Independent Film Festival 2014

The Nickel Independent Film Festival began in 2001 in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Inspired by a need for local filmmakers to show their films, the Nickel occurs each year in the third week of June at the historic LSPU Hall. With diverse selections from every genre, it continues to expand its programming and screens local, Canadian and foreign short films, features, documentaries, animations, music videos, and experimental films.

Nickel Pass
The pass does NOT guarantee tickets to any event.
A Nickel Festival Pass gives you:
- Access to all screenings. However, space is limited and admission is first come first served based on availability so please reserve your seat if you wish to attend.
- The house holds seats for pass holders and tickets must be reserved and/or picked up 15 minutes before the start of the screening.
- the ability to reserve a ticket for a screening or workshop ONLY on the DAY OF THE SCREENING/WORKSHOP.
- Access to all workshops except the Master Class with Andrea Cooper. However, you must still pre-register for the workshops by contacting the Nickel Film Festival directly at nickelfestival@gmail.com.
