The challenges of 2015 St. John’s may seem very far apart from those of 1954 Bragg’s Island, on the cusp of resettlement. But some things remain unchanged – through this never-ending race, the women of Newfoundland have banded together and kept life moving forward, overcoming what sometimes seems insurmountable.
Above all, they have endured… no matter what.
