Persistence Theatre Company Presents The Untold Story

Marian Frances White‘s 1999 film THE UNTOLD STORY OF THE SUFFRAGISTS OF NEWFOUNDLAND will be screened as a special one-night only fundraiser for the Armine Nutting Gosling statue project, followed by a talk-back with Marian and historian Dr. Margot Duley, moderated by Ruth Lawrence.

 

Tickets (including fees) are $40 and include a $25 tax receipt for the charitable portion.

The Untold Story was written and produced by Marian Frances White as a docu-drama celebrating the thirty-year struggle by the women of Newfoundland to win the right to vote. It was awarded third place in documentary filmmaking at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, California in 1999.
