We’re introducing a new series – Shade and Cinema: A Drag Artist Film Roast!

On April 26th at 8 pm come to the LSPU Hall for live commentary from Eda Kumquat and Irma Gerd of the 1981 psychological drama Mommie Dearest.

Directed by Frank Perry and starring Faye Dunaway. Adapted from Christina Crawford’s 1978 autobiography of the same name, the film follows her and her brother Christopher’s upbringing under their adoptive mother, actress Joan Crawford, depicting her as abusive, controlling, and manipulative, prioritizing her Hollywood career over her family.

Grab our specialty cocktail The Joan and Tonic (simple, strong, and not here for your excuses) in the Cox & Palmer Second Space before the film along with your complimentary popcorn!
