Sound Symposium is St. John’s festival of new music and the arts, an innovative sound environment filled with indoor and outdoor events.  Each noon hour, Harbour Symphonies — music for ships’ horns – will serenade the entire city. Nine days and nights of sound installations and concerts will feature new creations, multi-disciplinary works, world music, and world premieres of contemporary/new music by Canadian composers. Additional performances and workshops will be offered by many musicians and sound artists.  www.soundsymposium.com
