Resource Centre for the Arts Theatre Company & Western Canada Theatre are casting for the premiere of the new Canadian play, HABIB’S UNFORGETTABLE ALL NIGHT HOUSE PARTY, written by Janet Michael, and directed by Dean Paul Gibson.

PLEASE NOTE: The Joseph Family is Lebanese –  Habib* and Naseema, born in Lebanon, speak with a Lebanese accent; their children, born in Newfoundland, speak with a St. John’s accent.

*The role of Habib has been cast.

  • NASEEMA – late 50’s/ early 60’s – A strong personality with a good sense of humour.
  • FRANK (late 30s): Loves to entertain but has a brooding nature. An exceptional tenor voice.
  • LOUIE (early 30s): An eternal optimist with a strong sense of responsibility. Good singer.
  • EDDIE (20s): Loves music and is a great comic impersonator; a glamour boy.  Plays clarinet.
  • GLORIA (19): lives for flattery and male attention; a singer and a great dancer.
  • VICKI (16): Lives to entertain; an exceptional singer and born clown.
  • PAT FLYNN (20s): A friend of the Joseph family; an endearing personality; Plays piano.

CONTRACT DATES:

  1. JOHN’S: January 4 – February 14, 2016
    KAMLOOPS: March 25 – April 9, 2016
