Every place and community in the world appreciate life from a unique perspective. Traditions, language, and food vary from place to place, and the understanding and adaptation of these elements that are different from your own can be challenging, leading to cultural barriers.

These cultural barriers can translate to racism, discrimination, stigmatization, bullying, and isolation, amongst other things that perpetuate harm and danger to others.

In order to deal with cultural barriers, we should practice non-judgemental communication! Ask honest questions that lead to clarity. Avoid putting your assumptions and judgment in the way you communicate with others.
